The Vocational Training Project

Together for Sudan recently began to offer vocational training scholarships, to both men and women from displaced or disadvantaged backgrounds.
We are especially interested in students who wish to train as midwives or community health workers, but we have also supported those seeking to study carpentry, plumbing and electrical maintenance.
These scholarships cover tuition fees, registration fees and, where necessary, accommodation costs. The project has been financed by a generous grant from the Gordon Memorial College Trust Fund, but we shall need more donors if it is to be expanded as we wish.
Mozdan Salih Bashir, is a TfS Vocational Training scholar who comes from Kadugli in the Nuba Mountains and is studying automobile electrics. Abazar AbdElrahman Saeed, Mohmed Ibrahim Adam and Hani Hamid Ahmed, below are three TFS vocational scholars seen here engaged in a practical lesson with their colleagues.
